Sheel graduated in PPE (Politics, Philosophy, Economics) from Oxford University in 1996, and went on to explore the world of fashion.
In the early days patenting a new zip, he later designed and launched a denim brand, his labour of love.
Throughout his journey Sheel has remained closely aligned to his early philosophical roots, and key interests remain in metaphysics, which deals with the fundamental questions of reality, and aesthetics which deals with beauty and the philosophy of art.
Having also studied literature as a second degree, Sheel goes on to explore creative writing, as the release of some of the latent, interred and entombed inferna of his formative childhood subconscious.
The poems and short stories featured here echo traces of metaphysics, as a way of making sense of lived experience; and also aesthetics, both as part of the narrative, and in the execution of the literature itself.
